On May 21, 2026, Tan Hiep Industrial Park Joint Stock Company — KNIC, a member of KN Holdings Group, officially held the General Contractor Ceremony for the infrastructure construction of Bau Can – Tan Hiep Industrial Park, commercially known as KNIC Nam Long Thanh, Phase 1, located in Long Phuoc and Phuoc Thai communes, Dong Nai City.

Representatives of the developer, contractors, and partners perform the sand-shoveling ceremony, marking the start of Phase 1 infrastructure construction at KNIC Nam Long Thanh Industrial Park.

The event marks a major milestone for the project. Following the completion of key legal and planning procedures, KNIC Nam Long Thanh has officially entered the on-site construction phase, bringing to life its vision of creating a next-generation industrial ecosystem that meets international standards.

The ceremony was attended by senior leaders of KN Holdings Group, construction contractors Delta Vietnam and Thanh Nguyen Phat, supervision consultant TTAD, more than 100 domestic and international investment promotion partners, together with engineers and workers directly involved in the project implementation.

A NATIONAL KEY PROJECT WITH SIGNIFICANT SCALE AND VISION

Positioned under the strategic concept “Gateway to Asia’s Next Manufacturing Era”, KNIC Nam Long Thanh is planned on a land area of 1,000 hectares in Phase 1, with total investment capital of nearly USD 404 million. It is among the largest industrial park infrastructure projects in terms of scale and investment capital in Dong Nai and the Southern Key Economic Region.

Invited guests, including Mr. Fukuda Toshiyuki, General Director of Nippon Koei Vietnam, seated in the front row, second from the left.

Master-planned by Nippon Koei, a leading Japanese design consultancy with extensive experience in developing large-scale international-standard industrial parks, KNIC Nam Long Thanh is envisioned as an integrated industrial city. The project is designed not only to meet current manufacturing needs but also to prepare for the industries of the future.

STRONG LEGAL FOUNDATION AND READINESS FOR ACCELERATED CONSTRUCTION

One of KNIC Nam Long Thanh’s core competitive advantages is its fully completed legal framework prior to construction commencement. Key approvals include the Investment Policy Approval Decision, the 1/2000 zoning plan approval, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report, the land lease decision, and the approved Feasibility Study Report, including fire prevention and fighting plans and specialized technical components. This strong legal foundation reflects the developer’s implementation capability and provides a clear signal of reliability to partners and international investors.

Following the ceremony, contractors will mobilize resources to accelerate the construction of key infrastructure components, including land leveling, internal road systems, wastewater treatment plants, water supply and drainage systems, power supply systems, the Management Board building, and a range of internal amenities. Relevant parties have committed to strictly complying with the highest standards of quality, occupational safety, and project schedule.

According to the current plan, the project is expected to complete its basic infrastructure and be ready to welcome secondary investors for factory construction in Q4 2026. The Intelligent Operations Center, worker accommodation area, and several service facilities are scheduled to commence construction in June 2026 and become operational in 2027.

MULTIMODAL CONNECTIVITY – FOUR STRATEGIC TRANSPORT PILLARS

As Vietnam continues to deepen its integration into global supply chains, location and transport connectivity have become decisive factors for multinational corporations when selecting investment destinations. KNIC Nam Long Thanh benefits from a rare multimodal connectivity network, creating an optimized logistics platform for businesses operating within the industrial park.

Air connectivity: Located in a highly strategic position, KNIC Nam Long Thanh is only 5 km from Long Thanh International Airport. Once completed, the airport is expected to become one of the largest international aviation hubs in Southeast Asia, offering fast access for experts, executives, and high-value goods.

Road connectivity: The project is connected to several key roads already in operation, including:
(1) HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Highway, Phase 1, with four lanes;
(2) Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Highway, with six lanes;
(3) Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway, partially operational from Ring Road 3 to the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Highway interchange;
(4) National Highway 51, with eight lanes;
(5) Bau Can Road, connecting National Highway 51 to the industrial park;
(6) Two parallel arterial roads, DT25B with ten lanes and DT25C with eight lanes, connecting HCMC Ring Road 3 to Long Thanh International Airport.

Several major roads are also under construction or planned for implementation, including:
(1) Expansion of the HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway to ten lanes;
(2) DT 770B, a 60-meter-wide, ten-lane central boulevard running through the industrial park;
(3) Ring Road 4, connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Mep – Thi Vai Port;
(4) Road 769E, connecting to the western gate of Long Thanh Airport;
(5) DT 773, connecting Ring Road 4 and National Highway 1;
(6) National Highway 51C, the extended Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway connecting to National Highway 1A.

The expansion of the HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Highway commenced on August 19, 2025 and is expected to be completed in December 2026. Four key transport axes — Ring Road 4, DT769E, DT770B, and DT773 — are expected to commence construction in June 2026 and begin operation from late 2027.

This integrated transport network will enable seamless connectivity with HCMC, Binh Duong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, and neighboring provinces.

Waterway connectivity: KNIC Nam Long Thanh offers convenient access to Phuoc An Port, located approximately 18 km away, the Cai Mep – Thi Vai deep-water seaport cluster, approximately 25 km away, and Cat Lai Port, approximately 30 km away. This opens a direct export gateway to the United States and Europe without the need for transshipment, helping businesses significantly reduce logistics costs.

Railway and metro connectivity: The project is also expected to benefit from several strategic metro and railway lines currently being developed, including Thu Thiem – Long Thanh Metro, Suoi Tien – Long Thanh Metro, Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Railway, and the Long Thanh Metro Ring Route.

KNIC Nam Long Thanh is located within a 5 km radius of future metro stations, offering convenient access to city centers and significantly reducing travel time for experts and high-quality workers.

NEXT-GENERATION SMART INFRASTRUCTURE BUILT TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

KN Holdings has established three strategic pillars to guide the development of KNIC Nam Long Thanh: modern infrastructure, sustainable development, and readiness for high technology. The project’s technical infrastructure is designed and developed to international standards, ensuring stable and efficient long-term operation.

  • Internal road system: Internal roads are designed with widths ranging from 28 meters to 60 meters, with up to ten lanes. The system will use 100% solar-powered lighting, meeting the transportation needs of heavy-duty vehicles and container trucks.
  • Safe and sustainable power supply: KNIC Nam Long Thanh is planned with a 24/7 power supply system supported by three 110kV substations connected in a ring circuit from two independent transmission lines: the 220kV Long Thanh substation and the 110kV/220kV Vedan – My Xuan substation. With a total capacity of 378MW, the system is designed to ensure backup power in the event of an outage or technical incident at one substation.

    In addition, the project is planned to install a rooftop solar power system with total capacity of 600MW and a battery energy storage system, or BESS, of approximately 60MW. This infrastructure is designed to meet the demanding requirements of data centers and high-tech manufacturing facilities with high electricity consumption, such as chip, semiconductor, and photovoltaic equipment manufacturing. It also aligns with green manufacturing strategies and the increasingly stringent ESG criteria of multinational corporations.

  • Advanced water management: The project will include two independent water supply plants with total capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per day and two wastewater treatment plants using advanced SBR technology with total capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day. With a planned water reuse rate of 25%, KNIC Nam Long Thanh is committed to operating in accordance with strict environmental standards.
