KN INDUSTRIAL CITY STRENGTHENS HIGH-TECH INVESTMENT CONNECTIONS IN CHINA

Continuing the series of engagement activities in China throughout 2026, the KN Holdings leadership delegation held working sessions in Beijing and Shandong Province, strengthening connections with government agencies, trade promotion organizations and the business community. These activities also enabled KNIC Nam Long Thanh to deepen our engagement with investor communities aligned with our focus on semiconductors, data centers, AI and high-tech manufacturing.

Connecting with Beijing’s industrial and technology ecosystem

Positive discussions around the Next-Generation Industrial City model in Vietnam were among the key topics of the meeting.

In Beijing, the delegation met with the Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation under China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), exchanging perspectives on industrial and technology cooperation as well as opportunities to connect businesses across the two markets.

According to information shared during the program, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology currently oversees an ecosystem of approximately 60 million small and medium-sized enterprises across industrial manufacturing, information technology and innovation. This network plays an important role in China’s industrial and technology value chains.

Known as “China’s Silicon Valley” and a globally recognized innovation hub, Zhongguancun’s ecosystem currently includes 532 listed companies with a combined market capitalization of approximately USD 2.22 trillion.

KNIC Nam Long Thanh is being positioned to develop clusters in semiconductors, data centers, AI, electronics and high-tech manufacturing. Engaging with business communities with strong technological and innovation capabilities therefore creates further opportunities for KNIC to introduce a new investment destination in Vietnam.

Returning to Shandong and building on established connections

Earlier, in April 2026, KN Holdings organized an investment promotion program in Weifang, Shandong, bringing together nearly 200 Chinese enterprises from Weifang, Qingdao, Jinan and other localities across China. The program opened discussions on industrial supply chains, investment cooperation and development potential within the KN Industrial City ecosystem.

On this return visit to Shandong, the delegation continued to Dezhou, where it met with city leaders and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Dezhou branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Dezhou).

The agreement provides an additional platform for both sides to promote information exchange, introduce investment opportunities and bring the Dezhou business community closer to KN Holdings’ ecosystem in Vietnam.

In Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, the delegation continued its meetings with the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government, maintaining dialogue with local authorities and expanding regional cooperation channels.

From individual connections to a long-term market strategy

In July, KNIC signed MOUs with three organizations and business associations in Guangdong and Shenzhen. It also participated in the Guangdong–ASEAN Supply Chain Cooperation Conference, attended by approximately 1,000 delegates, while carrying out further Vietnam–China investment connection activities.

From Shandong, Guangdong and Shenzhen to Beijing, KNIC’s investment promotion network is gradually taking shape through concrete connections across industry, technology, trade and supply chains.

This reflects KNIC’s approach to the Chinese market: not simply introducing a project, but progressively building touchpoints with government authorities, trade promotion organizations, industry associations and business communities that may become future investors, partners or links in the supply chain.

This direction is closely connected with KNIC Nam Long Thanh, KNIC’s flagship project in Dong Nai, which is focused on attracting semiconductors, data centers, AI and high-tech manufacturing industries.

For emerging industries, an investment decision is a journey that moves from understanding the market and meeting the right partners to conducting site visits and identifying an ecosystem suited to long-term growth.

This is also the journey KNIC is progressively building—bringing its connections in China closer to tangible investment opportunities at KNIC Nam Long Thanh and in Vietnam
