KNIC JOINS DNIEZA IN ADVANCING DONG NAI’S HIGH-TECH INVESTMENT ECOSYSTEM

Dong Nai, August 20, 2026 – Emerging policies on high-tech investment, together with key considerations surrounding infrastructure, finance, logistics and human resources, took center stage at the seminar “Dong Nai – A Strategic Hub for Industry, Logistics and Investment in Southern Vietnam” held at Long Thanh Golf Club.

Speakers at the panel discussion shared in-depth perspectives on how new regulations related to the Law on High Technology may impact investment incentives and the attraction of investment into Dong Nai.

At the event, KN Industrial City (KNIC), a member of KN Holdings, participated as a key coordinating partner, joining the Dong Nai Industrial Zones and Economic Zones Authority (DNIEZA), the Technical Workforce Training and Supply Center (SSTC), financial institutions including Vietcombank Bien Hoa Branch, educational institutions and the business community in discussing the development of a next-generation investment ecosystem.

Dong Nai Poised to Attract High-Quality Investment

Mr. Pham Viet Phuong, Deputy Head in Charge of the Dong Nai Industrial Zones and Economic Zones Authority (DNIEZA), shared perspectives and development directions for Dong Nai at the event.

An overview of guests attending the event.

With its strategic connectivity, rapidly expanding transport infrastructure, the development of Long Thanh International Airport, an extensive expressway network and access to major seaports in Southern Vietnam, Dong Nai is increasingly strengthening its position as a strategic destination for high-tech enterprises and next-generation manufacturing.

As investment requirements continue to evolve, investors are looking beyond industrial land and technical infrastructure. Greater attention is now being placed on the ability to accelerate project implementation, integrate into supply chains, secure a reliable workforce and meet increasingly stringent requirements for sustainable manufacturing.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy CEO of KN Holdings, representing KNIC at the panel discussion, shared how KNIC is well positioned to translate Dong Nai’s advantages into tangible investment opportunities.

KNIC is developing next-generation industrial parks with integrated infrastructure designed to meet high standards for power, water, transportation and environmental management, with industrial land ready for handover from Q4 2026.

Beyond providing manufacturing space, KNIC aims to build a smart industrial ecosystem that helps businesses optimize long-term operating costs over a 30-50-year horizon, supporting their growth journey from small and medium-sized enterprises to billion-dollar corporations.

Through the Work-Live-Learn model, KNIC is creating a safe and convenient environment where people can work, live and learn. At the same time, ESG standards, legal support solutions and global supply chain connectivity are integrated into the ecosystem, enabling FDI enterprises to invest with confidence and pursue sustainable long-term growth in Vietnam.

KNIC offers strong potential across power, water and telecommunications infrastructure, green energy, logistics connectivity, social infrastructure and investor support services, positioning it to accommodate a new generation of FDI projects.

In the Long Thanh area, KNIC is developing two flagship projects, KNIC Nam Long Thanh and KNIC Dong Long Thanh, with the vision of creating modern and sustainable manufacturing environments suited to high-tech and high-value-added industries.

With direct connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport, the regional expressway network and major seaports in Southern Vietnam, the two projects are positioned to become an integral part of the emerging manufacturing and logistics ecosystem in the region.

Human Capital Development – A Foundation for the Industrial Ecosystem of the Future

Alongside infrastructure, human capital is becoming an increasingly critical factor in attracting and retaining high-tech investment. The transition from traditional manufacturing toward technology-driven production, automation, and research and development requires a workforce that is not only sufficient in scale but also equipped with the right technical capabilities.

KNIC signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Technical Workforce Training and Supply Center (SSTC), a public service unit under the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, and Dong Nai Technology University.

As part of the program, KNIC entered into cooperation agreements with SSTC and Dong Nai Technology University to strengthen the connection between education and the practical workforce needs of businesses, while expanding internship and employment opportunities and preparing skilled talent for high-tech manufacturing industries.

This direction is also aligned with KNIC’s Work–Live–Learn ecosystem, in which industrial parks are envisioned not simply as places of production, but as integrated environments connected with accommodation, education, healthcare, commercial amenities and quality living spaces. This enables businesses to better attract and retain highly skilled talent.

KNIC Expands Its Role as a Long-Term Partner in the Investment Ecosystem

Delegates and guests gathered for a commemorative photo at the event.

KNIC’s collaboration with DNIEZA/SSTC, financial institutions, educational organizations and the business community reflects its ambition to serve as a long-term partner to investors throughout the entire project development and operational journey, rather than simply providing industrial infrastructure.

The investment ecosystem being developed by KNIC aims to attract strategic investors to grow alongside us, with the shared vision of building a green, smart and sustainable industrial future.

As Vietnam’s tax policies undergo significant changes during the 2025–2026 period, businesses need to take a proactive approach to tax incentives. Rather than considering incentives solely on the basis of industry or project scale, they should be incorporated from the earliest stages of project design and investment planning.

Incentive policies are increasingly focused on high-value sectors such as innovation, research and development (R&D), high technology and the attraction of highly skilled talent. Businesses should therefore adopt a proactive, substantive and sustainable approach to tax incentives, working alongside KNIC to develop a modern industrial ecosystem that delivers lasting value.

A speaker shared insights during the panel discussion.

With KNIC Nam Long Thanh and KNIC Dong Long Thanh, KNIC continues to expand modern manufacturing capacity, strengthen supply chain connectivity and contribute to the development of a green, modern and competitive industrial–logistics ecosystem in Dong Nai and across Southern Vietnam.
