KN HOLDINGS HONOURED AT VIPF 2026: KNIC ADVANCES GREEN INDUSTRIAL PARK DEVELOPMENT THROUGH OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY

On September 29, 2026, at the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum (VIPF 2026), KN Industrial City (KNIC) was honoured in the category of “Emerging Green Industrial Property Developer 2026” under the “Green Future Awards” programme. This marks the third consecutive year that KN Holdings has been recognised by the programme, continuing the Group’s journey toward greener, smarter, and more integrated industrial development.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy CEO of KN Holdings, representing KNIC, receives the “Emerging Green Industrial Property Developer 2026” award at VIPF 2026.

With nearly 50 years of development, KN Holdings has built an ecosystem spanning five core sectors: real estate, services, renewable energy, industrial parks, and logistics. Its multi-sector investment experience provides a strong foundation for the Group to approach industrial park development in close connection with energy, services, and supply chains.

As the Group’s industrial park development arm, KNIC is focused on creating an investment environment that supports the long-term needs of businesses.

KNIC receives the trophy for the category “For Distinguished Contributions to Vietnam’s Industrial Property Sector 2026”.

The recognition at VIPF 2026 serves as further encouragement for this direction. For investors, site selection is increasingly linked not only to available land and transport connectivity, but also to the ability to implement projects efficiently and sustain production over the long term.

Power supply, workforce availability, supporting services, and environmental conditions all need to be considered from the outset, particularly for projects with investment horizons extending over several decades.

PEOPLE AND SERVICES BECOME PART OF INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE

During the panel discussion “Next-generation Industrial Parks – From Land Resources to Operational Capability”, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh highlighted investors’ growing demand for operational certainty and shorter time-to-market. Meeting these expectations requires developers to build a comprehensive ecosystem of business support services.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh shares his perspective on industrial park development aligned with investors’ project implementation and long-term operational needs.

According to Mr. Anh, vocational training, accommodation for experts and workers, as well as everyday amenities, should all be considered integral components of industrial park development.

For high-tech companies in particular, the ability to recruit and retain skilled technical talent plays an important role in maintaining stable operations and supporting long-term growth.

Similarly, green development must be translated into practical solutions for energy, resource efficiency, water management, and environmental performance. For tenants, the real value lies in whether these solutions can be effectively applied to production, measured over time, and used to meet the requirements of partners across the supply chain.

When asked which model would best suit foreign investors entering Vietnam for the first time, Mr. Tuan Anh selected the integrated industrial park model.

Under this approach, businesses can access infrastructure, services, and investment support within a unified development framework. The benefits are considered across the entire investment journey, from site assessment and factory development to recruitment, operations, and future expansion.

FROM GROUP-LEVEL VISION TO A NEXT-GENERATION INDUSTRIAL CITY

Beyond the panel discussions, the KNIC booth attracted strong interest from businesses, investors, and partners attending the forum. The KNIC team introduced two projects in Dong Nai and engaged with visitors on site selection requirements, infrastructure, and investment support services.

With a combined scale of approximately 2,000 hectares, KNIC Nam Long Thanh and KNIC Dong Long Thanh are designed around distinct industry-cluster strategies while sharing the same vision of developing a next-generation industrial city.

This model brings infrastructure, energy, logistics, and services together within a unified development framework.

KNIC Nam Long Thanh spans 1,000 hectares and is located 5 km south of Long Thanh International Airport.

KNIC Nam Long Thanh covers approximately 1,000 hectares, located 5 km from Long Thanh International Airport and 25 km from the Cai Mep–Thi Vai port cluster.

The project prioritises high-tech and digital infrastructure industries, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data centres, advanced electronics, automation, and smart logistics.

For these sectors, stable power supply, scalability, and the ability to maintain continuous operations are critical requirements. KNIC Nam Long Thanh is therefore oriented toward developing an energy roadmap, integrating digital infrastructure, and providing comprehensive investor services.

Its Work – Live – Learn model further incorporates living, working, and training components into the overall development.

Meanwhile, KNIC Dong Long Thanh focuses on green manufacturing and industries participating in sustainable supply chains, with particular emphasis on efficient resource utilisation and quality conditions for the workforce.

Direct conversations at the event allowed both KNIC and participating businesses to better understand each other’s needs and development priorities, opening opportunities for further discussions, site visits, and potential cooperation following the forum.

The recognition at VIPF 2026 has also given KNIC further momentum to advance its next-generation industrial city model and develop an investment environment that supports businesses throughout their long-term establishment, operations, and growth in Vietnam.
