As Vietnam–China strategic cooperation enters a new phase, an investment and business networking conference gathering nearly 200 leading Chinese enterprises took place on April 17, 2026, in Weifang City, Shandong Province. Recognised as one of China’s major industrial powerhouses, Shandong recorded an economic output of more than RMB 10.3 trillion (approximately USD 1.44 trillion), while total trade turnover between Vietnam and Shandong reached USD 4.28 billion in 2025. Home to a strong concentration of manufacturing, export-driven and high-tech enterprises, the province offers substantial potential for cross-border industrial cooperation and investment expansion, particularly for next-generation industrial developments in Vietnam.

Amid the continued momentum of Vietnam–China bilateral cooperation, the event took place at an opportune time to strengthen investment promotion for the KN Industrial City (KNIC) ecosystem — the next-generation industrial city developed by KN Holdings. The project reinforces its position as a leading green industrial infrastructure hub at the gateway to Long Thanh International Airport, with two key industrial parks: KNIC Nam Long Thanh (Bau Can – Tan Hiep) and KNIC Dong Long Thanh (Xuan Que – Song Nhan).

Sharing the project vision, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh (Deputy General Director of KNIC and Head of Project Development at KN Holdings) highlighted that Vietnam is emerging as a new global industrial hub, with Dong Nai positioned as a leading industrial engine of the country. The KNIC ecosystem offers a compelling investment opportunity thanks to its strategic location, directly connecting Long Thanh International Airport and the Cai Mep – Thi Vai deep water port, providing a distinct advantage amid the ongoing global supply chain restructuring.

Nearly 200 Chinese business leaders attended the conference on April 17 in Weifang City.
