KNIC Visits And Works With Guangdong Import-Export Association

On November 21, the KNIC delegation visited and worked with Guangdong Import-Export Association. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation, promote investment and promote Vietnam’s industrial environment to the Chinese business community.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Tan Sy – Deputy General Director – thanked the Association’s leaders for their warm welcome and gave an overview of the KNIC Dong Long Thanh project in Dong Nai province. Mr. Sy introduced that the industrial park will officially start construction on December 19, aiming to develop into a new generation industrial center with synchronous infrastructure, renewable energy and comprehensive solutions for businesses.

Mr. Tran Tan Sy emphasized that KNIC Dong Long Thanh focuses on attracting industries such as electric vehicles, high-tech, mechanical engineering and high-end furniture. The project’s goal is to build a “second home for Chinese enterprises” with a strategic position connecting ASEAN, Middle East and African markets. Mr. Sy expressed his desire to establish a long-term strategic partnership with the Guangdong Import-Export Association, taking advantage of the Association’s strong network to effectively connect Chinese enterprises interested in investing in Vietnam, especially through the Canton Fair. KNIC also respectfully invited representatives of the Association to attend the project groundbreaking ceremony on December 19.

The working session was effective, contributing positively to promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation. KNIC expects that the Association’s support will help expand connections, accelerate investment promotion activities and attract manufacturing enterprises, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s industry as well as strengthening Vietnam-China economic ties in the new period.
