KNIC Embraces Eco-Industrial Parks as a Long-Term Development Strategy

On the morning of June 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, during the ESG Forum 2025 hosted by The Saigon Times in collaboration with Green Transition Consulting & Training, Mr. Tran Tan Sy – Deputy General Director of KN Holdings Group – shared the Group’s vision for developing Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs).

He emphasized: “KN Holdings views the Eco-Industrial Park model as a long-term development strategy, not just a trend. Meeting EIP standards will enable us to better satisfy the expectations of international investors who are increasingly focused on green and sustainable manufacturing.”

From the planning stage, KN Holdings has collaborated with Japan’s leading consulting firms — including Nippon Koei for the KNIC Nam Long Thanh project and Nikken Sekkei for the KNIC Dong Long Thanh project — to develop industrial parks based on smart and sustainable principles.

Explaining why EIP development is a strategic choice, Mr. Tran Tan Sy noted:

• EIPs provide long-term value: assets appreciate, they attract premium investors, and improve access to green financing.
• Faster occupancy rates: due to high-tech enterprises and FDI prioritizing parks with sustainability-oriented visions.
• Lower operating costs over time: through energy efficiency and effective waste management.
• Legal compliance: ensures adherence to environmental regulations and reduces the risk of violations.
