KN INDUSTRIAL CITY WELCOMES GUANGDONG DELEGATION: FROM SITE VISIT TO LONG-TERM INVESTMENT COLLABORATION

On May 29, 2026, KN Holdings welcomed a delegation from Guangdong Province to the KN Industrial City (KNIC) office for a working visit and discussions on investment opportunities at KNIC Nam Long Thanh Industrial Park.

The delegation comprised representatives from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangdong Committee (CCPIT Guangdong), the China Chamber of International Commerce Guangdong Chamber (CCOIC Guangdong), and the Guangdong Enterprises Association in Vietnam. Notable attendees included Mr. Bai Mingzhao, Vice Chairman and First-Class Inspector of CCPIT Guangdong, and Mr. Cao Gaofeng, Chairman of the Guangdong Enterprises Association in Vietnam, together with representatives from relevant government agencies, business associations, and enterprises.

Recognized as China’s largest provincial economy, Guangdong has maintained the nation’s highest GDP for more than 35 consecutive years, reaching an estimated USD 1.9 trillion in 2025. Widely regarded as the “Factory of the World,” Guangdong is home to some of the world’s leading technology and manufacturing corporations, including Huawei, Tencent, BYD, and Midea. With an economic scale comparable to that of many developed countries, Guangdong’s business community continues to lead in innovation, smart manufacturing, and the expansion of global supply chains.

Representing KN Holdings, the meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, who oversees the Industrial Parks and Logistics Division, alongside representatives responsible for business development, leasing, and investment promotion for KNIC. The event was designed to facilitate direct dialogue and provide KNIC with valuable insights into the needs and expectations of Guangdong enterprises exploring investment opportunities, manufacturing expansion, and supply chain optimization in Vietnam.

During the meeting, KN Industrial City presented the strategic vision for the KNIC Nam Long Thanh project. Developed under the concept of a “Next-Generation Industrial City”, the project is committed to building a smart, modern industrial ecosystem guided by sustainable and green development principles. This foundation is designed to meet the stringent requirements of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in high-tech industries, supporting industries, and other high-value-added sectors.

In response, the Guangdong delegation expressed strong interest in Vietnam’s industrial park development landscape, investment incentive policies, master planning frameworks, as well as the infrastructure development progress and functional zoning plans of KNIC.

The visit marks an important step toward establishing a regular communication channel between KNIC and Guangdong’s trade promotion organizations and business community. Through this engagement, KN Holdings aims to enhance support for international investment delegations while strengthening collaboration with relevant organizations to attract strategic investors possessing advanced manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge technologies that align with KNIC’s long-term sustainable development strategy.
